I have the LiFePO4wered/Pi+ in my car pc. I recommend it. I feed 12 volts right to it's input too.

Can someone take a photo of the underside of the Automatic on off? Also are there any components sandwiched between the addon pcb and the base?
I only ask as this item has been out of stock since April, and they cant ship to AU / USA/ UK right now, so I have the top board I was just going to breadboard one up for testing.
Hi all - jumping in on this. I'm still searching for a solution for safe power for my OAP and am interested in this (if/when it becomes available again). but I have a question that I cannot seem to find answered, at least based off of my searches.
How to integrate power control of an amplifier? Does this unit have the capability of triggering the remote/signal wire to an amp? Or do most people just have the amp power on with the vehicle?

Some amps turn on when they sense a musical signal (eg GTO on Audiocontrol amps), that might help you.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I'm struggling with my boot script. At the moment I don't have OAP installed. I'm running bullseye. I did rename user from pi to my name.
I can get shutdown to work if I manually run shutdown-with-hold.py I can get shutdown to work if I manually run etc/rc.local (although I did need to add a few more pieces of code) rc.local is returning 127 so maybe that is my issue. Could anyone share their rc.local file? |
