I was messing around with a lot of settings, Some how I made the phone the primary display when OAP starts AA. I have no idea what setting I need to change back and have spent hours back and forth trying to figure it out. This is how I get to the point of re flashing the card and it will fix the issue I messed up. I have my phone forget the WiFi and BT.
This time I figured I would ask as I know it is a setting and not a CMD line I messed up.
Anyone have a a clue what setting I messed up that made AA open in the phone? all i get on OA is the resume and day/night. if i hit resume it will not resume on my phone or on OA.
But when the phone uses the AA it doesn't quit on me.
using OAP 10
PI 4 8 gig
phone is a 1+6T
Ugreen sound card
and have the connect app
i found a solution for me.. i had installed both android auto and android auto for phone, so when one open, the second open and quit the first, and so on.... installing only android auto and unistalling android auto for phone, now works fine.. .. for now... see your tomorrow maybe
and today, again doesn't works!!!!!!!!!!!!!
today at first does't start automatically, so i clicked on anroid auto, wifi, and it say android auto not available, so i installed again androdi auto for phone, and i set again unknown origin and wireless connection, and i t again connect and disconnect
i unistalled androdi auto for phone, it still conennct and disconnect
i noticed that when it connect, android auto show, but wifi connection from the phone and raspberry disconnect for 1 seconds. so androdi auto quit, and so on
Today i lost Every Hope.. i switched off the hotspot, deleted the wifi and tbluetooth profile
.. and connected with the cable..
BUt this is a soluzion for short trip.. because the phone it's not Charged enought by Raspberry while connected, so.. It can't be used for long period, so Everythings i did have no use.
The usb hub with the external power supply will fix your issue with charging phone.
Did you try remove AA, clear cache, and install it again? As final check you can do factory reset of you phone.
I'm returning to this problem after I reinstalled everything on the phone, new PixelExperience rom on my oneplus5 (so the phone behaves like a pixel), AA 5.3, and the wireless AA drops connection semi-regularly. I can even predict it now; it's almost always on navigation mode (I'm driving to somewhere, the car is moving), the screen output starts lagging every so slightly in the beginning, and if something "quick" happens, like an unexpected turn, a phone call, or change of music, the phone drops the connection and I have to press the "wifi" icon to restart it. Logs are always the same with the -30 AAsdk error that I have posted above.
Can it be a problem of wifi/bluetooth interference / lost signal? Can I measure or somehow amplify the wifi connection so it doesn't drop? Regarding my specific setup, my raspberry pi is behind the official screen, the phone is in front of the screen, and it is currently connected through bluetooth with both the car stereo and the raspberry pi. It is connected through wifi to the OpenAutoPro hotspot (which is setup at 5Ghz) and it is also sharing its internet connection through bluetooth to the raspberry pi.
Any suggestions to troubleshoot it / fix it? Can I buy some wifi adapter to make it faster/more reliable? Or is it a completely different issue?
