Raspberry Pi 4B
Hifiberry AMP2 HAT
USB Bluetooth
USB Microphone
OAP 9.1
Connected Pro
Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge
OAP/Pi connect to phone via USB cable
When I receive an incoming call, my ringing sound file plays, the answer and disconnect buttons appear but are not operational. Nothing happens when I press the answer button. I was able to connect to the call by disconnecting the USB cable connection between phone and OAP and answering the call directly on my phone. When I did so, the call audio came in over the car speakers (wirelessly, I guess). To end the call, I had to wait for the other party to hang up. Then I reconnected the USB to resume the Phone / OAP connection.
I vaguely recall that this issue was addressed in a previous release. But I am unable to find the discussion in the boards.
[SOLVED] ... I found the old thread. The issue was about the top bar being turned off caused the buttons not to work. Yes, I had the top bar turned off. I turned it back on and the buttons work. When I make an outgoing call, the display includes a statement that Bluetooth is not connected. However, I am able to talk and receive audio. So I'm not sure what that message is about.
