USB restart
Hi, I have a problem with the USB. I have updated OpenAuto Pro to version 8.0 and when connecting the phone (via USB) to RaspberryPi all USB devices restart. Over and over again. AndroidAuto cannot be started via USB (via Wifi it works correctly).
I think something has changed in the USB current limit, but I don't know what. The earlier version of OpenAuto Pro was 6.1, everything was fine.

- Raspberry Pi 3 B+ RetroPie
- Power supply 5V 4A
- Sound card Ugreen (the cheapest) with microphone input
- Bluetooth Gembrid BTD-MINI5
- Waveshare 5inch HDMI Capacitive Touch Screen LCD (H)
- AndroidAuto 5.3.501634
- Huawei P30 Lite
This really sounds like a power issue. Carefully try to measure what happens to voltage when you connect the phone
Raspberry Pi 4b-4gb / Official 7" touchscreen / OAP 5.0 / Honor 8x (AndroidAuto 5.) / USB sound card / USB microphone
Thanks for the help. Problem solved. The voltage on RaspberryPi was too high (5.4V). The problem only occurred after connecting the phone. Strange.
I am ashamed that I did not check the voltage. I am an electronics engineer.
