Hello!
Apparently some cars offer Google Maps navigation from Android Auto in the instrument cluster (Honda Civic according to the internet), the next turn, distance etc. gets displayed in the drivers view, so it seems like Android Auto has some output for that kind of stuff.
Of course it's too much to ask to provide that capability, since it would require change in the cars software I guess (I don't even have a car with any display at all), but would it be possible to get the next turn etc. of the active navigation and maybe transferring that information over serial to another Pi or maybe an Arduino (options would be endless), which would run a screen to display those elements? (Of course, again, the displaying itself would be too much to ask for, but just having that information to use at all would be great).
Thanks in advance for any replies.
