5.1 sound break bluetooth
#1
Hello, i have a 5.1 usb audio card and work well with stock pulseaudio settings. When i change to 5.1 audio (to enable rear audio) after some minutes bluetooth disconnect and cant reconnect. If i revert to 2 channel and reboot pulseaudio get stuck at "establishing connection to pulseaudio. Please wait..." Now my phone connect to openauto but only with call without audio

Looks like crash in PulseAudio. Did you modify any config files in order to enable 5.1 sound?

Just curious.. are you saying that you can get separate (adjustable) volume levels with that 5.1 card? meaning you can balance (left/right) fade (front/rear) and sub woofer.(im guessing outside of OAP) but still im interested in your answer

FYI... I can do that with my AudioInjector Octo sound card (not within OAP's interface tho). It has 8 channel output or 6 channel input (4 DACs, 3 ADCs). It's not exactly ideal for OAP. I've been thinking about making a mixer app for it that I could access as an OAP "Application."

Awesome, thanks for the info. I'll start a new thread instead of taking over this one

Its plug and play but by default the audio is only 2.0. in this video i show how to enable 5.1 channels, but i have some problems described in first post: https://youtu.be/t5RmgjRUqNY
