Equalizer custom profile
#1
Hello,

When I try to change the custom profile of the equalizer, no matter how much I move the parameters I don't notice any change in the sound, the sound stays the same as with the configuration that I have selected before (pop, rock, jazz ...).

My setup:
- OAP 5.0 stock
- External bluetooth
- Generic USB soundcard
- Raspberry Pi3b
- microphone

Thank you,

Do you notice any change when you switch to pop/rock/jazz/classic preset?

Do you have fresh install or 5.0 applied by update script?

Yes, I notice a change when I switch between those presets but not when I made change in custom preset.

I have fresh install of 5.0.

What values did you set on your custom preset?

I tried many different combinations, setting the ones on the left higher and the ones on the right lower, also everything at the same level... But the sound doesn't change.

Please post exact preset and we will check on our reference setup if there is audible difference.

I have tried for example everything at -10, 10 and 70 and there is no diiference. Also I have tried everything at 0, and the first values at 10 or 50 and there is no difference, no matter the value...

I also had the mistake. Flashing OpenAuto again fixed the problem Wink

Have you already flashed the image onto the SD again?

Just curious... have you checked the owner/permissions set on the Equalizer config file?
Code:
