I redownloaded the image from the link you sended me on 22.12.2019, and when doing "ls /home/pi/.openauto/cache" I get the same three "files"

coverarts    hfp    openauto.log

Check the sha2 of the file it should be this for the new image.

New image = SHA256: 860D42A1DA1DDC0F70C4BA91F194063A51700EB429FE87573373DF09515D841B

We double checked update package and image, and we are completely sure they contain boot time patch. Did you boot your Raspberry PI with the sound card? Didn't your browser cache update package or image file? Please double check whether you flashed recently downloaded image.

Could you resend me fixed 5.0 image to my email.
As I mentioned before, first boot is always performed on a bench table, therefore usb hub with usb soundcard and usb gps are not connected.

How do I check SHA2 file?

When checking sha256 it gives me
E3D8D.....

And original image gives me sha256
89973.....
