I'm trying to compact my cables between my 7" Eviciv monitor and raspberry pi 4. I will be printing a custom portable case from my 3d printer. My goal is to attach 5v power to the monitor through a 3-pin JST connector and to the Pi4 at the +5v/GND GPIO pins from a 12v to 5v buck converter.
The RPi4 uses 2 micro HDMI connections . So I would like to use a micro HDMI 90 degree male---> 10 mm ribbon cable ---> HDMI ribbon cable on monitor board. [see attached photo]. I tried a 90 degree micro HDMI male to the ribbon cable but it didn't work. One came with it and it works but it has a standard HDMI male end.
Has anyone done anything like this with OAP or have any ideas? Maybe there is a better way?
