Hi all
I've been running my head unit for a couple of weeks now and all is looking good!
But the sound quality is a bit mediocre. I'm only using a cheap 4 x 50w amplifier board from eBay so it's no great surprise. What I have is the output from the USB sound car going into a headphone splitter and then into each of the 3.5mm inputs on the amp. This goes into the ISO connector which feeds a mid-range and tweeter in the front, and a pair of mid range speakers in the back. My car is an MG TF so space is tight and the boot (trunk) is behind the engine, which is behind the 2 seats so that's not an option.
It's not bad but the bass is just non-existent and I'm missing my bass badly. I've added an under-seat sub-woofer that taps into the rear speaker feed but I just don't think it's being driver hard enough as the bass is still weak.
So, my question is what would be a good solution?
Cheers
Andy
