Mentioned command is used to setup SCO routing for internal bluetooth adapter. If you do not use internal bluetooth adapter then it should be commented out.

This is a neat solution. I've been trying different ways of a safe shutdown. Tried the 3 relays, built a circuit with an op amp, etc, and couldn't get anything working. After a discussion on Facebook with a guy called Ronald who has posted in here about his can-bus experiments he gave me the idea to do it with Bluetooth which is what I've done.
My little script needs refining so I'll post it in a new thread.
Couple of things:
1. Why does the phone have to be unplugged before the engine is switched off?
1: Because my Pi is switch on/off with the ignition (saves having to short a pin to turn it back on
2: probably a good idea as I could then Daemon it
When I get back to doing the CAN bus stuff, will most likely tap off one of the messages for the built in screen that turns that off (I believe in the jag its around 5 minutes)
