I can share this greek shop aggregator (think of it as eBay/Amazon): https://www.skroutz.gr/s/2445256/Viewcon-VE459.html where there are a lot of greek shops that have the usb grabber. Maybe one of them will be able to send it to your EU location.

Thanks, that looks cheap enough to give it a shot!

Hello
has solved it with EasyCAP Stk1160 by updating ffmpeg source code to FFmpeg 4.3.3

I found this Easycap (info below) in my store but it doesn't display the camera video in OPA14 or 15. however when using qtv4l2 or vlc, it can show the video in Raspbian desktop. how to address this problem?

You can use cvlc or qv4l2 command as your rear camera script.
thanks for the help and the rear camera appear as triggered using CAN bus. I set the rear camera to "Script" and made the changes in the /home/pi/.openauto/config/openauto_system.ini . the rear camera shown is a little pop up window and it doesn't spread across the 12.3 inch widescreen. is there a way to stretch the video to display as big as the screen? I did add in the --fullscreen but the video is not stretch to the wide angle.
[RearCamera] DeviceDescriptor=v4l2:///dev/video0 GpioPin=27 ShowGuideLine=false Orientation=0 ScriptPath=cvlc v4l2:///dev/video0 --fullscreen BackendType=2 ResolutionWidth=720 ResolutionHeight=480 ViewFinderIndex=0 VolumeLevelEnabled=false VolumeLevel=70

what is the different between vlc, cvlc and qv4l2? I google but all show vlc command lines. my objective is to stretch the rear video wider like changing the resolution to 1920x720.

Updated FFmpeg to 5.1.1 but couldn't get the Stk1160 working with v4l2 and cvlc was too laggy
Ended up using the v4l2loopback method and works for both the Stk1160 and Macro Silicon M2106 |
