It's definitely Open Auto fault after upgrade. The same problem was in Open Auto 10, in OA9 all was fine. So when OBD dongle is connected, sound is perfect. Only when I listen to BT music without OBD connected at the same time, stream is very bad.

I've also had the same behavior with a RasPi 4B 1GB & 2GB devices with OAP 10. Getting ready to upgrade to OAP 11. I do not have an OBD-II dongle connected. I have the same BT audio issues when connected via USB or WLAN to the OAP. I stopped using Wireless AA and went back to USB because it became extremely unstable recently actually. I'm also UGREEN USB Bluetooth 4.0 Adapter which uses the CSR8510 chipset.
I think some of it might be related to this BT firmware bug. https://github.com/RPi-Distro/firmware-nonfree/issues/8 I have not tested yet completely shutting down the WiFi which those in the thread above found fixed the bug they were having to see if it is that issue yet. Thanks to COVID I'm driving a lot less...

Interesting, I think it's not only Pi4 issue, as I observed similar behaviour on older 3B+ board as well, and the same users from linked thread. Thanks for sharing, looks we are waiting for firmware upgrade to solve interference

Sometime the playing of the Bluetooth Audio stops (the time of the track goes further but no audio). To get the audio back I have to go several times to the next track or pause and play several time.(09-28-2020, 06:19 PM)brentil Wrote: I've also had the same behavior with a RasPi 4B 1GB & 2GB devices with OAP 10. I love the AA integration. i'm not sure if i understand how you're connecting now and how you want to connect. i've always used my vehicle bluetooth to handle all audio (music, notifications, etc) and phone calls. i've never routed any audio through the pi. is that what you're trying to do?

I think the links for the update are down? I requested a new mail for the link but I don't know if it's intentional that the provided links are down.

I don't think the timed out. On sunday one Server was down, I could download it from the second. |
