Hi, i can't show you that right now. But in a week or something i can send you more pictures and an explanation for the mount i used.
You have also an XC90 I or which car you have?
I have a 2002 Audi S6 Avant but I'm wanting to do a very similar way of mounting on the edge of the dash. No rush but whenever you could would be great, I have been planning out my setup and the mounting is maybe the trickiest part.
Okay, i mounted the screen with metal angle which i stuck (just sitting there without screws or anything) between the speakerbracket and the dash. Here you see the original speakergrill
It's not a perfect mount, because if i drive on rough roads it vibrates quite much and that can damage the screen later down the line. I have to find a solution for that. But before that i want to get the bluetooth connection reliable and my factory audiosystem (which is currently quite strange xD).
Thats how i made that. And with cables, underneath the speaker bracket there is lots of space for a raspberry pi + powersupplies and displaycontroller and stuff thats where i put that, and i routed cables inside the dash from beneath the cupholders, where there is also lots of space, up to the space under the speakerbracket.
