Is there a version 2 coming? or new stock due soon? - mentalinc - 04-10-2019

See they are not available for purchase currently.

Just wondering if there is an ETA for them?

Currently we are struggling with manufacturer and very long delivery time. Therefore we do not want to declare to any ETA.

Any update on this?

This sort of hardware is very make or break for this sort of project.

Is it definitely coming back in stock? Or should I focus on looking for an alternative?

Sorry the boards have been damaged during manufacture process and we try to solve these issues with supplier.
For now you can try Hisma solution which is very simple and interesting:

I have configured per Hisma steps and just need to test in the car, but can't see why it wouldn't work!

I hadn't validated i could reproduce what @Hisma had created.

I have now done that and works 100% as expected.

Suggest you point people in that direction.

I wrote up what the video did to help along on my build:

###

Resetting Timer to the factory settings.

###

To reset the timer to the factory settings perform the following procedure:

Connect WHITE/GREEN wires to the ground or push button #1 and #2.

Supply power to the timer.

When output comes on (LED ON) disconnect power while keeping WHITE/GREEN wires connected to the ground.

Repeat supply and disconnect of power five times.

On the fifth time, the output will blink a couple times.

Disconnect WHITE/GREEN from the ground and wait until LED goes OFF.

Disconnect power. Timer is reset to the default values.

Touch GREEN and WHITE to GROUND, apply power, then remove GREEN and WHITE from GROUND, light should stay on three seconds = programming mode

Touch GREEN and WHITE to GROUND four more times (waiting for the light to turn off each time)

Touch GREEN to GROUND,, then take GREEN off GROUND, light should flash twice

Pull power

Set to shut off after 1 hour

Touch GREEN and WHITE to GROUND, apply power, then remove GREEN and WHITE from GROUND, light should stay on three seconds = programming mode

WHITE touch and hold to GROUND 4 times = four paramters (light will "strobe"

watch and follow

then VERY quickly touch WHITE to GROUND so light just flashes to set 1 hour

WHITE to GROUND and hold to save. light flashes a few times

then WHITE to GROUND 4 more times (light flashes for a bit) to skip the paramters, then the light says on after fourth touch
