FYI: When AA does not start but everything else works - Hoodie - 07-01-2021
Hey everyone,
Long time lurker here that has gained alot of information from this forum. I wanted to pay it forward.
To anyone who has the following problem
Music plays seamlessly, phone is connected (notifications, call logs all in base OpenAuto Software) but AA will not start.
Check if your BT Dongle manufacturer states that this BT Dongle is compatible with car stereos specifically.
I have used the Daykit 4.0 CSR will success. My only gripe is that the audio skips from time to time but AA starts with no issue. I have tried many bluetooth dongles over time looking to improve sound quality and I can tell you that a majority of the ones on Amazon will prevent AA from starting.
EDIT: Even if it says Mac/Linux Compatible but says not compatible with car stereos, it will not work.
