==SOLVED== No TouchScreen or input with SunFounder - christopher - 06-07-2021

Hello,

I've performed a fresh install of bluewavestudio-openauto-pro-release-13.1 using the official raspberry pi Imager. The install and verification was successful.

I remove the micro-sd from the computer and insert it into a raspberry pi 4 8gb with an AudioInjector Sound Card with inbuild microphone and a sunfounder 7 Inch DIY touchscreen, mouse, and keyboard.

The screen takes awhile to come from blank but shows the select a language. The touchscreen does not work. The tab key will select the first choice but not allow me to go up/down, only allowing me to select the first choice. The mouse will scroll up/down but not allow me to select the correct language to continue.

a. Raspberry Pi 4B 8gb ram

b. 2.4 power supply
c. Audio Injector Sound Card Pi wiht inbuild microphone B01HCC0210
d. Yes
e.
f. SunFounder Steam Education 7 Inch DIY Touchscreen -- X002UEUI1L
2. Android Auto:
a. The newest AA version
b. Samsung S9

Sincerely,
Christopher

It could be caused by missing screen configuration, as you are using non original one. Check at manufacturer site how to handle this.

For OAP keyboard moves use those keys: https://bluewavestudio.io/community/showthread.php?tid=2048

For mouse cursor visibility activation check this:

Thank-You Daniel,

As it turns out the touch input and power are located on the same usb channel, so when I had this plugged into just power the touch input was failing... because it wasn't plugged into the pi. The manufacturer helped me to resolve this matter. I would highly recommend them for parts or a screen! [https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07Y889J3X/]
