Rpi does not start after update - nhadrian - 05-02-2021

Hi guys, I'm having an issue.
After applying update through terminal and rebooted at the end, RPI don't wake up anymore, only blank screen.

Since I'm having some custom scripts I'd avoid using a clean install.
Looking for any suggestions.

Adrian

Please post more details about your setup.

RE: OpenAuto Pro version 13 is available - nhadrian - 05-02-2021

PRI4 and Raspberry 7" screen
USB audio card (Adafruit)
usb BT dongle
RTC board on i2c

scripts for controlling additional FAN, controlling LCD brightness (raspbian level), control activity led, input for sleep button

Everything was working perfectly until update.
I can share complete SD-card content if required.

Tomorrow I'm going to disassemble my car and connect a HDMI screen to see if there are any messages during boot or so. Sad Sad Sad

Are you able to connect to the RPi via terminal?

Yes I can use terminal on the rpi, I can navigate to terminal by keystrokes and start it.
I tried to run update again, but didnt solve the issue.
Without wifi card initialized, I got some error messages when updater tries to reach web sources.

Please post output of the autoapp command executed in terminal. Did you shutdown Raspberry PI during update procedure? If no, it looks like your SD card might be broken.

Yes, I got this screen: https://bluewavestudio.io/community/showthread.php?tid=2578
But I thought installer simply finished, so I login and rebooted.

So perhaps that is the issue. Trying autoapp now.

Nothing happens for 'autoapp'. Sad

There is no output for autoapp command?

OK I gave up and went on a fresh install.
Good news that wth OAP12 my previous xiaomi phone wax connecting to wireless AA, but my galaxy note 10 not.
With OAP13 my note 10 also connects flawless.
