thanks for posting this, looking forward to trying it out.
Trying to buy the dongle now, but their site checkout seems to be broken. Hopefully they can get it fixed soon.

EDIT: Order finally went through. Looking forward to trying this out.

That are great news.
Can you provide some screenshots?
How is the integration into OAP/AA?
Have you tested it in your car and how is the receiving of DAB+?

Would also like to see some screenshots of how the software looks. Thanks for your great work!

This program needs be integrated as any other custom software to OAP. This should not be a problem as it is documented in their manual.

At the moment I can only test the program on my laptop where  I develop everything and after that on a pi. At the moment I use a Pi3b for tests as this one is weaker then a Pi4. Also my car where i want to use it needs to be repaired, doing it by myself... and I also have another project where I develop and solder a mainboard where  I put the Pi on top as "CPU". This board should work in the car that needs to be repaired...so al ot to do...

What is the range of FM in USA ?

Main page with FM station running and showing RDS

Main page with DAB station playing

All stations (scan page) listing DAB stations (green a favorites)

All station in scan action of FM (with working progressbar...)

Still there are many things to do, like GUI and also DAB data. Focusing on bugs an further development right now. But as it is open source, everybody may feel free to join the project and program in Qt...

I think in the US it's 87.8 MHz to 108 MHz

Do you think it would be possible to build a volume control into the app?
Something like the one in the OAP dropdown, but in the app itself?

I don't have any physical button/knobs in my system, and using the drop-down is difficult when driving.

Ok in germany we use the same freq for FM.

I guess it is possible. Bit need to find out the right api for volume control on debian, maybe via alsa controls, but yes already thought about that.

Hello Vitalic,
that is really impressive, awesome work!
I have ordered now the stick a second time, after they have canceled my first order last year because they can't deliver.
